Grace Notes - Counting the Gifts 749-769

The year's at the spring, and day's at the morn;
Morning's at seven; the hill-side's dew-pearl'd;
The lark's on the wing; the snail's on the thorn;
God's in His heaven - all's right with the world!
~ Robert Browning
The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitudes of isles be glad!
Psalm 97:1

Joining the multitudes giving thanks . . .

757.   . . . and then it got moved even closer.
758.  Gracie is getting so grown up . . . she knows what time to come home every night from Auntie Shannon's.            10 pm and she is looking for her treats.
759.  A hard conversation that was well-received
760.  Daffodils blooming

765.  Welcoming faces at church
766.  Communion with the saints on Sunday . . . in remembrance of Him
767.  Hearing the neighbour's lawnmower the first time this spring

  1. I love to come by and share the sweetness of your days! Your R. Browning poem is one of my favourites! and Psalm 97:1 speaks my heart!
    Love your enjoyment of the skateborder... Oh that the joy of the Lord would so shine from us that people would wonder at the source and come running to the King of kings! He brings such beauty into our days ...

  2. I, too, loved the Browning poem at the beginning of your post. When we KNOW that God is in His Heaven, then all things are right and good, aren't they?! I smiled as I read of you singing along with the Gaithers. I was right there with you! I just can't shut up and listen. . . I have to sing along, especially with all the oldies. It has warmed up here, too, and we will push 90 degrees today. Hard to believe, but it looks like a long, hot summer ahead. Loved your whole list today. . . especially skateboarding, smiling, groceries. . !!!

  3. There is SO much here to love. All the wonders of your surgical recovery and the steady progress, the blue jays in the tree, the snail, the wonder of communion, and just the artistry with which you put it all together. Sigh!

    I am so glad I know you,
    Dawn
