SHS Photo Challenge 50

Fall is truly upon us . . . the sun getting up later each day and retiring so much sooner in the evening.  I still have a fair bit of cleanup do to with my container garden but other things have taken precedence the last few weeks.  Way too busy for my liking but I always make time for a few photos  . . . so here they are.

1.  Yellow
My daughter still has some sunflowers going strong . . . love the long yellow petals on this one.

2. Getting Ready (a)
. . . to bake my first ever cauliflower crust pizza.

2. Getting Ready (b)
. . . to sample said cauliflower crust pizza.  Yum!

3.  Bright
I don't think I have ever seen a sunset like this one . . . bright white ball with blazing yellow rays.

4.  Teeny Tiny
The teeniest tiniest birdhouse on my kitchen windowsill.

5.  Connections
Hearts connecting  . . . generations bonding.
Meeting my first granddaughter 10 years ago.
What a magical moment meeting this little miss that turned me into a grandmother.

Linking with Ashley Sisk @ Ramblings & Photos.

  1. Did you like the pizza? I love cauli crust pizza! Love the yellow shot too!

  2. Oh that teeny tiny is great & I love the last one. So touching.

  3. Yum, yum to all your photos - what a great grandmother picture!

  4. I really love your teeny tiny shot. It is so awesome!

I also love yellow. Very pretty!

  5. That pizza looks scrumptious. I am intrigued by the idea of cauliflower crust - never heard of that but I bet it is wonderful. I am really liking your teeny tiny shot - the greens and the lighting are lovely.

    1. This is the link for the cauli crust recipe:

  6. Great job. That pizza looks incredibly delicious. :)

  7. You had all my senses going with this set: the eyes, the taste buds and smeller. My heart was touched by the tiny babe and bird house. The colors, the anticipation of food baking and then the anticipation of eating what was baked just drew me in. Perhaps I should have eaten a better dinner? Your flower shots are always spectacular--eye candy, sigh.

  8. Lovely photos as always, Andrea, but my favourite - the last one showing the love between you and your little granddaughter. Such sweetness in your face.

  9. Fabulous set.
That Pizza for Getting Ready looks delicious and sounds interesting. You should share the recipe.
Bright is a stunning shot and I liked the lovely Yellow Sunflower too.
    Connections is so precious.

  10. Teeny tiny is just great but the one that touched me is connection. I have also felt those feelings as our grandchildren have been born. Special feeling and great picture. Thanks

  11. Your connections exactly caught the moment!
Your flower reminds me that Autumn is still here at our farm too... Yay!
