An English Proverb

This grandma's soul was deeply touched by her granddaughters' mission to bless a wee one waiting for a new heart.  Truly a measure of healing came to my heart by being "with them" via this post from

It has been almost two years since I have been with them in person . . . they live in Ontario, I live in BC.  The memories of that whole month together and the photos and videos taken, continue to nourish my soul.  Books read, songs sung, dishes done, walks taken, races run, play dough days, 3 act plays, sewing dollies, rocking babies, ballet classes, piano practice and so much more continue to put a smile on my face and deep gratitude in my heart.

Linking today with Bonnie @ Pixel Dust Photo Art where the suggested theme was "Minimalist".

  6. Oh how beautiful this is, and think it is time for you to go for another month. 2 years is way too long to be away from those you love

  8. 2 years is too long. Thanks be to God for that 1 month that filled up your love tank. I only got to spend 36 hours or so with them but their delightful presence still cheers me on. Each day I reach for my coffee cup with the "K" on it and am reminded of them. Each day my screen saver serves up photos of the Christmas Pageant and a wonderful walk in the woods. The Christmas Day we walked in the woods was grey and dull but it was sunshiny in my heart. The soul is healed by being with children. Love you sis.
