This week brings for me, the end of my job and that is a good thing. The conditions have been very hard to bear and the stress has caused so much anxiety in my mind and body that the doctor told me I needed to quit. And since he put that in writing I am trusting that there will not be any trouble with employment insurance. Today I got the lab work and ECG out of the way and am looking forward to some time to recuperate.
The photo below is a perfect illustration of what I am feeling right now. Coming out of the dark and difficult shadows and moving towards that lovely green garden full of beauty and life.
A favourite scripture verse comes to mind as well . . .
"He has called us out of darkness, into His marvelous light"
1 Peter 2:9
Linking up with Bonnie and friends for Photo Art Friday.

ReplyDeleteDear Andrea Dawn,
ReplyDeleteMy husband had an incredible sermon this week where he asked the question, "Did you ever wonder why Jesus had to be tortured, why he couldn't have just died for us through a peaceful death?" I honestly had never wondered that, but there was a reason and he preached about it. There was a reason, too, why your path crossed that man at the coffee company and a purpose in your suffering at that cross. Hmmm, "you had to suffer at that cross" isn't that an interesting way of describing it!? All for the glory of God--someday we will know...someday.
I loved the picture. It shouts "hope"!
Dawn
Beautifully done!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, you are beautiful! You've been on my heart, so I've been praying for you!
