I had a great time taking and playing with these shots this week. It can be difficult to take photos of yourself but I have learned not to be too quick to delete what might at first glance seem unusable. These all came from shots I would NEVER use for anything but photo art play.
Now I must get over to Bonnie's before the linky closes.
Come, enjoy the gallery with me.
Be inspired.
You put so much thought into your post ... your quotes are so meaningful in light of the subject. You are indeed a beautiful person in many ways. Thank you, I am glad you got your post in on time ... and I have to mention your beautiful cat. What a pair you make :)

Love the composition and editing of the blue one, but I particularly like how your countenance softens when you have the cat beside you!
ReplyDeleteReally love these, and especially that sweet smile with your fur friend beside you!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say the first image is my fave, but I really love them all.
ReplyDeleteI like all the variations and particularly like the quotes you've chosen, I've not come across any of them before
ReplyDeleteInterestingly I find the third one in the yellow and green tones the one I go back to. The curious eyes studying the world from behind a shield of nature suggests vibrant, innocent youth. It could have been a photo of one of your granddaughters. Amazing.
ReplyDeleteThese were just stunning!!!!! I can't choose between the first and the last one as both of those are my favorites. Perhaps it is the glasses and how they showed up ---- but I love them all, really. You are such an artist with your camera and your editing. I call it "double art, double talent!"
ReplyDeletethis is amazing and so very wondrous!! I love the Journey and getting to enJOY it as such a BEautimous pace.
ReplyDeleteI looked at these once, then went back and studied them more closely. Beautiful work, Andrea, of a beautiful face in which gentleness and wisdom are evident.
ReplyDeleteI love this series of self portrait; amazing edits on all of them.....
ReplyDeleteI really like your furry friend; they are the best.
you amaze me again my friend~ so fun!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you didn't throw them away and instead played with them. They turned out great. I so love the one with you and the kitty.
ReplyDeleteThese are just lovely. I love the textures in the first one! and the close cropis fabulous. So glad you got posted in time.
