Grace Notes - Counting the Gifts 526-536

Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.
 2 Corinthians 9:10,11

The gifts keep coming and I am thankful for . . .

526.  School kids running through piles of leaves at recess time
527.  Finger puppets from Peru . . . raising funds for children at risk (kidsalive.ca)

 528.  Red Cross Society . . . medical equipment loan program (walker, crutches, bathroom aids)

529.  Granddaughters praying for Grandma's surgery
530.  A bouquet of "hope" . . . white carnations
531.  Large bird in tree, big smile on face

532.  Mountains that surround . . . Psalm 125:2

533.  Wonderful ladies group . . . since I won't be able to go to them after surgery, they are coming to me.
534.  Warm hugs and good wishes
535.  A bookmark pressed into my hand, scriptures written on the back
536.  "You are the love song, we'll sing forever . . ." (listen here)

  1. I always smile when I see you have posted more Grace notes! It is always like a real visit and you sharing what's on your heart <3
I can imagine the cups of tea before us and His presence...
    Granddaughter's prayers are VERY powerful...
I was visiting a friend and her little grandgirls, the age of yours, prayed their daddy would get work near home as he has been working out of town for a few years now. Someone from His church heard the girls prayer and offered their daddy a job at his construction site as a supervisor! The kids tell everyone how God answered their prayers... such joy!
I know God will be right at your side all the way through surgery... may His peace give you rest and healing.
I LOVE your finger puppets~ delightful! Kidsalive.ca is a wonderful ministry.
Your song put me to joyous worship and now I will head out to dance with my sweet goaties and count snowflakes.

  2. With tear-filled eyes I read this. I take Susan's hand and yours to make a tea party of three in His presence and I pray

Dear Holy One of God, the only One who can make us holy. We praise and magnify your Holy Name. We are broken, but we KNOW you can make us whole. You do it each and every moment so...Trusting You, we commend Andrea Dawn to the medical people You have placed in her community for her and the nursing staff who will see to her daily living needs until she can go home. May they have supernatural knowing of her needs. At the same time, You know who is there who needs her as much as she needs the surgery so I ask You to prepare their hearts as they are about to meet God through Andrea Dawn's hospital stay. May worry be nil, may hope sore, may healing be swift and pain controllable, and if it is not too much to ask, may Andrea Dawn be able to see the moon at night and the birds in the day. I guess she needs a window bed for that, but You know best. I envision skipping and gardening on her knees and walks at full speed by late spring--all for Your glory. Amen and amen!

Singing worship songs (no goats involved),
    Dawn

  4. okay, Andrea Dawn, never have I had a more clear winner for favorite thank you on a list – the warm wishes and hugs – that was a really good second place, because I heart warm wishes and hugs, and we can't really live without them. But by far number one on the list – those adorable hand puppets – I'm sorry – finger puppets - heart them! and I'm smiling – and you did that, so thank you my friend. God bless you and keep you.
