Grace Notes - Counting the Gifts 698-711

"Now thank we all, our God, with hearts and hands and voices
Who wondrous things hath done, in whom His world rejoices;
Who from our mother's arms, hath blessed us on our way
With countless gifts of love, and still is ours today."
~ Rev. Martin Rinkart  (1858)

  1. the prayer you mentioned... I love this:
Because Jesus embraced the ultimate weakness and weariness of the cross, I’m confident of your burden-bearing love. I may be weary in my servanthood, but I’m thriving in my sonship. Nothing can separate me from your love; not unreasonable people, nor unlimited needs, nor unfinished tasks. So very Amen I pray, in Jesus’ tender and triumphant name. Amen.

I am thankful with you Andrea Dawn... God is indeed gracious to you

your photos give a delightful hint to Spring... so soon!

  2. Such great verses. And the prayer in the link really touched my heart. Why do I think I'm exempt from getting tired and weary? Yet our loving Father is there to provide refreshment. Thanks be to God.

Rejoicing with you in the new mobility you have!

  3. Dear Andrea Dawn,

That is YOUR car? I am smiling ear to ear. You drive red and sleek. I would never have guessed. Hee Hee

Number 701 - praise God you were able to sort out the confusing pieces of any agency. I am in the thick of one myself and I KNOW what a miracle it can be.

Number 708 - sometimes we have to trust a long time, investments are rarely short-term. They are risky, but when wise contributions are made they can yield big dividends. Praising God with you.

Number 710 - I used to not like flowers inside and, as a young woman, I told my husband so. Dutifully he obliged and I get chocolate, but no flowers. Now I like flowers inside, but the flower-giver is trained otherwise. Hmmm, I will have to consult the retraining manual.

Your pictures and well-selected Scriptures and prayer are so wonderful here. Bless you,
    Dawn

    1. Yes Dawn, that's my baby . . . she is really more burgundy than red but still pretty sleek looking. I had the same car, same year in gold before that, but she got totaled almost 2 years ago. Thankfully I had exited the vehicle 10 seconds before it was hit. Again, I say, God is good!

  4. Your car is perfectly coordinated with the first photo. Did you plan it that way? Were the tulips (?) your inspiration or did the car come first? Ha!
